By bringing together the strengths of the Higher Education partners and the many networks around The Sage Gateshead.
Using CETL funds to run 12 projects, which will
- help highly diversified groups of new students negotiate the transition into HE Music study
- enhance and diversify the central musical learning experiences of our Music curricula
- devise strategies for dealing with musical diversity on practical, creative and theoretical levels
- address the transition out of HE into the professional world, for students of all musical profiles
Creating a network (within and beyond the CETL) for sharing and developing pedagogical approaches.
