CETL review

The CETL for Music and Inclusivity officially started in March 2005 with activity accelerating in September 2005 once all CETL members of staff were in place.

The aim of the CETL is to enhance musical inclusivity and this means both broadening music education to maximise participation by students from diverse backgrounds and promoting all musical practices that stake a claim in contemporary culture - popular, classical, folk and traditional, brass band, new or avant garde and world musics. In this first review we are delighted to showcase some of the activities that have launched the CETL regionally and nationally over the past year.
