CETL students win prestigious Enterprise Award

"When we were writing the bid document for the CETL project we included a quotation from jazz musician Django Bates, who famously described saxophonist Evan Parker as 'the proof that during shallow times, musicians can still exist on their own terms'. So it's been a source of real gratification to us to see lots of our students getting serious not only about developing their entrepreneurial skills, but also about doing this on their own terms. These students are the very kind of which Django Bates would I'm sure be proud (we certainly are)".

David Clarke,
Director of CETL

"The winners have travelled a long way over the past year. They are passionate about their music, and have developed this into a business enterprise that will inspire other music students. They are now champions of cultural enterprise and entrepreneurship and have represented the Careers Service and CETL at university events".

Dawn Weatherston,
CETL Development Manager
