goes musical
“Are you going to the next Musical Restaurant?” seems to be the question on everyone’s lips at the moment. On Sunday 8th April, Musical Restaurant had its opening night and since then, there has been a definite buzz about it around Newcastle, in the student community and beyond. Mark Self, Musical Restaurant’s innovator and CETL student, reported that “more than 60 people turned up and the atmosphere was great. People were so friendly and found it very appealing to be in an old Italian restaurant hearing new music.” A further two nights of Musical Restaurant have since proved to be just as successful, attracting a bigger audience, even more performers and a fine artist interpreting some of the music.
