The CETL for Music and Inclusivity has, through the Working in Music project, developed strong links with Careers and Enterprise centres in all partner institutions and was one of the sponsors of the Newcastle University Enterprise Challenge Awards 2008.
This year the CETL team became winners as well as sponsors when Dawn Weatherston, the CETL Development Manager, won the Outstanding Contribution to Enterprise Award (Staff) for her instrumental work in fostering enterprise and professional development amongst arts and cultures students.
“winning the award has been fantastic both for myself and CETL colleagues. The CETL has become a hot bed of collaborative artistic entrepreneurial activity that has now really been put on the regional map”
