Sound and Music Therapies in Practice
The project addresses a need identified by several institutions of the CETL and adds a further dimension to the CETL theme of inclusivity in its provision of opportunities for creative and enabling work (with, for example, children with special needs, and the elderly and mentally infirm) which can be accessed by both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The scope of the project will cover new professional development opportunities in the specialist area of vibro-acoustic sound therapy, based on prior significant work in this field at Sunderland.
