Seven Heroes
As part of his Masters course, David William Smith organised the shooting of a music video in the computer rooms at Newcastle University with a team from London, 150 extras from Newcastle, Northumbria and Sunderland universities and surrounding colleges. The video has led to even more exposure for this successful band which is rapidly gaining recognition regionally and nationally. They were recently featured on a regional BBC arts programme.
The music video was for David's band Seven Heroes to promote “Dont Call”, released in February 2007. The video itself will appear on the SkyTV music channels as well as on the band’s websites.
This video has also been included in a music magazine with a distribution of 10,000 - 15,000 people throughout the UK.
In exchange for financial support for his project David is publicising the CETL in articles and on the CD covers.
