Tripswitches

Alan Edge has been working closely with staff and students at Newcastle University and, with the help of CETL funding, set up Tripswitches.

Tripswitches is designed to help music and film makers meet and collaborate to perform new projects giving them a space on the local music scene to explore live/improvised music and film performance for new audience. Artists with less experience perform alongside more experienced and professional artists helping them gain confidence and wisdom in their chosen field. Performances will include Live music to improv visuals, improv film to live music, soundtracks created to short film/animation.All music and film genres(within reason)are encouraged to perform making this event a colourful ever evolving thought provoking experience for artists and audience alike.
